Adidas net climbs 12 per cent after Euro 2008 tournament

Adidas on Tuesday announces a 12% profit rise for the second quarter and increases its margin guidance for the year as increased sales from the Euro 2008 soccer tournament help to counter a ramp-up in marketing costs.
