Ljungberg In Euro 2008 Fitness Race
04-07-2008West Ham's Freddie Ljungberg is in a race against time to be fit for Sweden's participation in this summer's Euro 2008
The Irons midfielder is suffering from a hamstring injury and had to be carried off during last weekend's 2-1 defeat at Sunderland.
The 30-year-old former Arsenal star could be out for up to six weeks, leaving him an extremely tight schedule to reach fitness in time for this summer's international tournament.
It is not yet known how serious the injury is, but in any event West Ham will definitely have to plan their next two to three matches without the Swede's services
